The Bob January Pop Standards Combo
..consists of Bob (on tenor saxophone and clarinet), plus his favorite piano player, bassist, drummer, and vocalist,
a total of five musicians.
A typical program usually consists of songs by Cole Porter and George Gershwin, a few Latin ballroom dances, a few waltzes, and a few swing jazz tunes,
elegantly and tastefully played, with an easy, swinging style.
